Santa Fe, New Mexico | Light Straw Clay

This 1880 square foot home and 400 square foot guest house is joined by a timber frame breezeway. Window composition and outdoor living spaces are designed to take advantage of sunrises over the Sangre de Cristo mountains to the east and sunset views over the Jemez mountains to the west. The space defining timber frame and cross views through the home as well as the retractable shoji expand the sense of spaciousness. A series of outdoor living spaces surround the home, weaving between the main home and the guest home.
